Preston Masons Remember 11.11.12

 
On a beautiful sunny Remembrance day morning.
Members of Preston Mark No 143 and Progress Mark
No898. Marched in procession with about 500 Service
Personal & Ex service Personal,  to Preston Cenotaph.
 
To the music of the Lancastrian Brigade Band & Corps
of Drums watched by a crowd of over 2000 people
 
A service of remembrance was conducted by the Vicar
of Preston. A wreath was then  laid by Bro. Gowan
O’Hagan W.M. of Progress Mark. As Bro. Eddie Adams

W. M. of Preston Mark. Was Standard Bearer  for his

Branch of the British Legion. The assembled
 
procession then marched to Preston City Hall where
the salute was taken by the Mayor of Preston. Then
those who wished to participate were invited to the
Guild Hall for Hot Pot and Coffee
